According to the results of January-December 2021, the volume of exports of fruits and vegetables amounted to 957.3 million USD, in physical terms – 1 521.8 thousand tons. The rate of decline, compared to the same period in 2020, was 5.1%.

The largest share in the export of fruits and vegetables in value terms is occupied by vegetables – 42.2%, fruits and berries – 29.3%. For the period January-December 2021, 799.2 thousand tons of vegetables were exported in the amount of 403.6 million USD, as well as 325.4 thousand tons of fruits and berries in the amount of 280.6 million USD.

In January-December 2021, the share of fruits and vegetables in total exports amounted to 5.8%.

The main export markets for fruits and vegetables are Russia (30.5%), Kazakhstan (20.5%), Kyrgyzstan (12.2%), China (11.7%), Pakistan (6.6%), Afghanistan (2.8%), Turkey (2.4%).
